Story
We have been harvesting Zinfandel in the heart of the Napa Valley since way back when big hair and parachute pants were popular. It's a totally righteous red made from Zinfandel ripened to perfection under the Napa sunshine. Straight up, this is one totally awesome Zin that you'll never want to give up.

Taste Inky purple with aromas of raspberries, wildflowers, and toffee that rain down upon a foundation of ripe plum and sweet spice. A magical celebration of flavor that hits you like a sledgehammer beckoning you to give it one more try all night long. Time after time, it pairs perfectly with a grilled ribeye with or without bleu cheese. Show your true colors by sharing it with others because that's what friends are for.

5/8/2014 – Is this Zin super-spicy or is it more jammy than spicy?

Response From Surfside Cellars: We like our Zin's no matter what - but this one happens to be more on the jammy side.

1/20/2014 – How long can I cellar this wine?

Response From Surfside Cellars: This wine is made for long-term cellaring, although how long you should cellar it depends upon how you like to drink your wine. Over time, the tannins will reduce and the fruit flavors will become more forward. If you have multiple bottles (which we always recommend!), we suggest you drink one every 6-8 months and see how you like it at the point - if it's the perfect balance of fruit and tannin to you at that time, drink the rest!
